We have outlined our roadmap to provide visibility of the next set of exciting features for the plugin. The features and enhancements are based on feedback and conversations we have had with our customers. Key updates – ISO27001 certification

We’re delighted to announce that AssertThat has achieved ISO 27001 certification.Over the past months, we’ve been working diligently behind the scenes to strengthen our information security management practices. This certification reflects our continued commitment to protecting customer data and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of security, reliability, and compliance.

Our ISO 27001 accreditation provides our customers with greater assurance of our security controls, risk management processes, and ongoing commitment to safeguarding their information. More information can be found on our Trust Center

Feature overview

AssertThat BDD Roadmap details are split below for the two versions of the plugin available on marketplace – Cloud, Server/Data Center. Also detailed are our ongoing commitment to Security, Reliability and Compliance programs.

Cloud

  • AI Test Case Generation – We will be incorporating our Agentic Agent Test Case Generation into the Forge version of the plugin. This will be available in Q1 2026

  • Migration to Forge – As part of our long-term roadmap, we are transitioning to a hybrid Forge framework for Jira Cloud. This update strengthens our security posture, improves performance, and aligns with Atlassian’s strategic direction. It also ensures we’re fully prepared ahead of the Jira Data Center end-of-life in 2029

  • Plugin enhancements and client support – We continue to provide responsive client support and deliver targeted plugin enhancements based on user feedback. Our focus is on reliability, usability, and steady improvement.

Server / Data Center

  • New Test Plan Gadgets – Available from the dashboards section for cross project reporting. The new gadgets include Test Plans chart report, and Test Plans table report.

  • Support for Jira Version 11 – we will be aligning with Atlassian Data Center Platform 7, bringing enhanced security, better performance, improved dependency management, and compatibility with Java 17.

  • Issue view enhancements to manual execution – We are planning changes to the manual test execution screens, aligning with the improvements made to our Cloud version of the plugin. These will be implemented in Q1 2026.

  • Plugin enhancements and client support – We continue to provide responsive client support and deliver targeted plugin enhancements based on user feedback. Our focus is on reliability, usability, and steady improvement.

Security, Reliability and Compliance 

  • ISO27001 compliance – We maintain ISO 27001 compliance, ensuring our processes and products meet recognised standards for security, reliability, and ongoing risk management.

  • Cloud Fortified – apps are designed to serve the largest customers and those with more business-critical operating requirements.

  • Marketplace Bug Bounty – We have been participating in the Marketplace Security Bug Bounty program since Q4 2020, and we continue to develop and improve our Security capability.

  • Cloud Migration Assistance – We provide support and assistance as some customers choose to move to Cloud Platform. Please note we continue to fully support and develop our Data Center and Server versions of the plugin.
